Accreditation Details

The Christian World College of Theology (CWCT) is a rotational ministry preparation program.  It is a religious institution operating in the State of Maryland pursuant to an exemption granted by the Maryland Higher Education Commission, without a certificate of approval from the Commission, as specified in the Code of Maryland Regulations 138.02.04. Our mission is to equip students for a life of service and leadership in the Church worldwide.

The creation of this college was not to seek to be approved by systems of education, but rather to continue to do what we do best – preparing men and women to minister worldwide, sharing the Gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Since our inception, we have prepared hundreds of missionaries, pastors, evangelists, teachers, educators, youth leaders and Christian workers.

Benefits of Accreditation

In 2001, CWCT entered into a covenant agreement with Christian Life College in Mt. Prospect, Illinois to offer a bachelor’s degree program.  This program was developed by instructors from CLC.  CWCT began its covenant agreement with CLC in 2009 to offer a master’s degree program.

CWCT recognizes the authority and autonomy of the local church and, therefore, will not interfere with the life, discipline, or doctrinal emphasis of any church.

CWCT does not accept earned credit from other institutions of higher learning.  Exceptions may be made by the President regarding credits from other religious colleges.   The transferability of credit earned at CWCT to another institution is at the discretion of the receiving institution.
