What does the course have to offer?

An associate degree is an undergraduate degree awarded after a course of post-secondary study, typically lasting two years.  It is a level of qualification between a high school grade 12 certificate and a bachelor’s degree.  

Associate Degree Program

1st Year

Genesis

A study of the creation, the flood, and the patriarch. An examination of the major theme of beginnings regarding sin, the human family, the government, and the nations.  God’s redemptive plan for humanity begins to be revealed..

Evangelism

A review of the biblical injunctions to evangelize, with emphasis on developing the skills of personal evangelism and equipping others to share their faith.

Doctrine of Scripture

Explores the Doctrine of Scripture and its development over time, its shape and practice in the various Christian traditions.

Theology

A study of the First Person of the Trinity including the names of God.

Christology

A study of the person of Christ as fully God and fully man including the names of Christ.

Pneumatology

An examination of the Person and work of the Holy Spirit.

Ecclesiology

Examines the origin and nature of the Church as the Body of Christ, and the local church – its organization, its ordinances, and its ministry.

Foundational Prayer

Designed to help the student identify and utilize the weapons of warfare necessary for successful Christian living.

Foundation of the Gospels (Matthew)

An overview of the Gospels with focus on Matthew.

The Anointing

Addresses what the anointing is and is not; examines the power and enabling of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

Angelology

A study of the nature and ministry of angels, Satan, and demons.  An introductory examination of the charismatic movement, anthropology, the origin and nature of man, and hamartiology (dealing with the fall and its consequences, especially total depravity).

Spiritual Leadership 

Designed to increase knowledge of the theoretical aspects of leadership and of administrative roles in the Church.

Eschatology

Addresses many of the common questions about the End Times; provides guidance as to how we may study, prepare for, and come to love God’s plan for the End of the Age.

2nd Year

Discovering Your Gifts 

Developed to assist students in discovering their individual calling in ministry through the identification of their God-given gifts.  

History of Israel

A study of the origin and development of the people of Israel from the call of Abraham to the period after the exile focusing on key elements, individuals and eras, the Exodus, the conquest of Canaan, monarchy, divided kingdoms, and exile.

Commands & Servants

A study of the commands God has given to man through His Word and the reaction to those commands by biblical servants.

The Ministry of the Prophets

A study of the commands God has given to man through His Word and the reaction to those commands by biblical servants.
